As a web developer at Eyelight you'll work with designers to produce fully functional websites. Projects will span from marketing websites to content management systems and web applications. This position is a three month contract that may lead to full-time employment.
Requirements
- Two or more years doing front and back-end web programming
- The ability to hand code standards compliant cross-browser compatible HTML/CSS templates from design comps
- At least one year of programming forms and database driven sites in PHP and MYSQL
- Enough working knowledge of Photoshop to create and manipulate images used in web sites
- A portfolio of past related work
Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience
- Programming experience in other web languages such as Actionscript, ASP, AJAX, ColdFusion, .Net, Ruby, Python, or Perl
- Ability to design websites and graphics
- Flash or Flex development
- Experience developing sites and applications for mobile devices
- 3D application experience
- Experience with search engine optimization
- Administration of web servers (Apache or IIS)
